This weekend starts a month of travel. Some for work, mostly for pleasure. We start this weekend with a four day stay in a houseboat on Lake Michigan. Not exactly my idea of traveling but it the hubs idea to hang with old college friends and gosh it is his birthday weekend. Upside is that the houseboat comes with two kayaks and jet skis. Really excited for the prospect of getting to Jet Ski. Prior to WW I wouldn't get on a jet ski because I didn't want anyone to look to closely at my thunder thighs. They are still thundering however the clapping is just not as loud. Plus, I think it will be cold and I'll have the option of a wet suit. Regardless I will be out on the water.
We are home for a week then I head to NYC for work for two days and plan to meet DD to look for wedding dresses. This could either be really stressful or fun. Hopefully we will be saying Yes to the dress…finally.
Home for three days then we head to Italy for a 10 day trip touring Rome, and hopefully the Amalfi Coast, it all depends on time constraints (have to get beach time).
Home for four days which will probably entail 14 hrs days to make up for my absents. Then will be heading to NC for a family event.
The most exciting part of my traveling is ending the month with getting to meet some of the most wonderful people …my virtual WW friends for a couple of days. Actually I am most excited about this leg of the trip.
So I started to get a little anxious about making sure I stay OP. I'm not sure how often I will get to connect remotely especially while out of the country. But I have put some things into play
Leslie will be traveling with us at least in the states. That's Leslie Sansone. I can always pop in a disc and do some walking. Hotel gyms are generally gross. When in Italy I think I will be doing a lot of sightseeing walking so I'm not as concerned. Resistance bands are coming too; free weights are rather awkward to pack. This is my life and I want to be mindful but realistic. I will try new food things, I will try different wines (I'm in Italy) but my goal is to not over indulge.
I need to stay mindful, this is far too important to blow because I am traveling. Basically, I don't want to spend the next month losing a vacation gain. So for you world travelers if you have any additional ideas they would be greatly appreciated.
